MUSIC

Let God's people sing praise!
The Music Ministry has been an integral part of Church life for many centuries. Our Music Ministry Team is comprised of many varied and talented people.

READERS

Reading the Word of God during Mass is a vital ministry. We have readers of all ages and we encourage people to join this ministry

ACOLYTES

Acolytes assist the parish priest with the smooth running of the Mass.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

Eucharistic Ministers perform the extraordinary service of sharing the presence of Christ with all who receive his Body and Blood. The Ministers assist the priest with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and also at the homes of those who are unable to attend our Masses. As prayer, reverence and dignity are necessary for this ministry; training is required and is available.

ALTAR SERVERS

If you have a child who has received their first Holy Communion and is interested in Altar Serving, it is a great way for them to be involved in the Mass. Training is provided to assist in the role.

YOUTH GROUP

This group is made up of Parent Leaders, Youth Leaders and members of the Youth Group and is designed to bring together youths aged 12 to 15 years. Throughout the meeting members play games, dance along to the music and enjoy sharing supper together. The group is designed to bring young people together, allowing each person the opportunity to develop their own individuality, make new friends, become closer to God and have fun.

KID'S CHURCH

Kid's Church is for children aged 4 to 8 years of age. The Gospel is portrayed to children in a way that they can relate to. This is usually an interactive reading with simplified language, followed by discussion points and a craft activity to emphasise the Gospel message.
Kids Church is a great way to get children excited about coming to Church. All the activities are designed for their age group and help them to learn about God in a fun way.
Kid's Church is held during 6.00pm Mass on the 1st Saturday of each month.

CHILDREN'S MASS

Children's Mass is at 9.00am on third Sunday of every month. Children do singing, readings and occasionally Liturgical Dance.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY

Children of all ages are invited to join in with Children's Liturgy. Children up to 3 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or older sibling and the older children are welcome to come along up until they have completed their First Holy Communion. We are always looking for people who can help. The programme and all materials are provided for the helpers, so there is very little preparation time involved The commitment is less than 30 minutes a month.
Children's Liturgy is held during 9.00am Mass on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month.
