ST. BERNADETTE'S CARE

This parish pastoral care programme offers, through its volunteers, short term emergency care to anyone who lives within the parish. Assistance is offered in the areas of emergency meals, visiting the sick, lonely and elderly, home help, transport, gardening and handyman.

CRAFT GROUP

Our Craft Group does a lot more than the name suggests. Originally this group of dedicated volunteers, by making and selling craft items, raised sufficient funds to finance the building of the hall adjacent to our Church. Since then the group has continued to raise funds by many creative activities e.g. travelling to Craft Groups around Perth to obtain ideas for their already extensive repertoire of craft products, makings items for sale at the Church and shopping centres in the local vicinity. One of the great achievements of our Craft Group has been their implementation of the use of discarded film canisters to encourage Parishioners and others to save their five cent pieces and bring them to the Church. This initiative was introduced in May 2006 . Since then over $12,000 has been raised and put towards the debt on our church. The group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL

St Vincent de Paul Rockingham is an emergency relief centre providing food, clothing and household goods. Counselling is also available. If you require assistance or feel you can assist this valuable ministry please phone 9592 7816.
