April - Foundation of new hall is blessed by Fr. Richard Doyle.
July - First Mass celebrated in new Parish Centre.
Introduction of R.C.I.A. Programme.

August - Official opening of Parish Centre by Archbishop Hickey.
September - St. Bernadette's Care group is formed.

Confirmation classes begins.
December - First Parish Reconciliation night.

Parish sponsors candidates to attend Youth Rally in Rome.
First Confirmation Ceremony for graduands from St. Bernadette's Catholic Primary School.

August - Youth pilgrims farewelled by Parish before heading off to Jerusalem and Rome.

July - Four set of twins born in parish, makes front page of The Record.
December - Shelter House purchased and we welcomed our first refugee family.

Buy-a-Brick Campaign begins.
Parish community surveyed on various aspects of new church.
